Our Peak Summer period is from 20th December - 7th February each year. During this time we have minimum night stays in place for camp sites and cabins. Camp site bookings must be 7 nights minimum and cabin bookings 4 nights minimum, unless we can fill a shorter gap. General bookings open on the 7th March each year, availability will be live up until 20th December the following year.
Guests who wish to book in for our Peak Summer period can make new bookings from 7th March onward. Guests are able to book their summer holiday via our website on 7th March from 7am. Bookings made are on a first in first served basis, bookings are not confirmed until you have completed payment at check out (when booking via the website). All confirmed bookings will receive a booking confirmation via email.
Guests who stay a minimum of 7 nights on a camp site or 4 nights in a cabin between 20th December - 7th February, qualify for preferential booking the following year. This means they are able to re-book the same site/cabin they stayed in for the same dates the following summer. Guests who qualify for preferential booking will receive a rebooking form in their check in pack. Rebooking forms are to be completed and returned on or prior to departure. Deposits must be paid within 14 days of booking creation. Bookings must be made and deposit paid in full (showing in Camp Waipu Cove bank account) no later than 28th February to confirm booking. Unconfirmed bookings will be cancelled after the 28th February. Guests with preferential bookings can then make changes to their bookings from 1st March (subject to availability) prior to general bookings opening on the 7th March. It is the guest's responsibility to rebook their cabin or site for the following year. If you have handed in your rebooking form and have not received notification of your new booking by 10th February, please contact us. Camp Waipu Cove do not automatically rebook preferential bookings.
